About Ky Kalani
Ky Kalani was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and raised in Northern California and Reno, Nevada, where her passion for music and the arts took root early. By the age of 17, she had already achieved a degree in Fine Arts, solidifying her foundation in creativity and self-expression. She began singing in school choirs at six, performing in talent shows, and later exploring her artistry through poetry and gospel choir performances in high school. At 16, she produced her first track and began performing in Reno’s underground art scene, showcasing her dynamic range as an artist.
Ky’s modeling career began at 15, and by 16, she walked in her first fashion show, a fundraiser supporting animal care. After relocating to San Francisco, she continued to model while exploring her artistic ambitions. In 2020, Ky moved to Hawaii, where her creative pursuits flourished. She signed her first modeling contract in Honolulu in 2021, leading to runway appearances, features in local magazines, and a growing presence in the fashion industry.
As a DJ, Ky performed across the Hawaiian Islands, captivating audiences with her ability to craft transformative musical journeys. She also starred in and produced immersive theater productions in Honolulu’s underground scene, blending aerial silks, fire, burlesque, and her original music into breathtaking performances.
Ky’s dedication and talent have earned her numerous accolades, including a $5,000 prize in a Live Band Karaoke Competition and prestigious titles such as Miss Runway 2025 and Miss Bikini Pacific Islands.
Currently, Ky is channeling her diverse experiences into the production of her debut album. Drawing from her extensive background in music, modeling, and performance, she creates art that inspires connection, celebrates individuality, and reflects her unique journey.
